Small, cute, and intelligent, Australian Terriers
are usually able to arrange their household to suit them. Ours are no exception.
They love being underfoot (preferably sitting on a foot - to which they cling
whenever the phone rings) as well as helping with household chores like
(un)folding laundry. Australian Terriers are quick and fearless hunters
and take the job of keeping their yard critter free seriously. Since critters
may come in large sizes or include the neighbor's cat, they require either
a fence or a commitment to long, leashed walks.
